I started Plant Nutrition Edit because I was tired of the confusion that surrounds functional plant foods and plant based nutrition.
After years of working in scientific publishing and research review, I knew: Solid evidence was out there, but it was buried in technical jargon on one end, and trends and opinions on the other, a mixture which often misled from what the data actually showed.
I’ve spent time studying and verifying research, fact-checking sources, and learning how to make complex information clear.
I’ve also lived a mainly plant based life for around 10 years, not as a trend, but as something that genuinely changed my energy, focus, and overall health.
I’ve seen how powerful functional plant foods can be when they’re used with real understanding rather than hype.
Plant Nutrition Edit is built on that idea: making trustworthy, evidence-based knowledge easy to follow for everyone. No technical jargon. No miracle claims. Just well-researched writing on how plants, herbs, and whole foods can support your health in proven ways.
Each article, checklist, and guide here is created with the same approach:
Research first, interpretation second.
Everything I share is drawn from peer-reviewed studies, trusted data sources, and a clear explanation of what the evidence actually says. I take the information that’s often locked inside academic papers and turn it into something practical you can use in your daily life.
Whether you’re new to plant nutrition or already deep into functional foods, you’ll find reliable, down-to-earth resources here. From how specific herbs support focus and calm, to which plant compounds have the strongest scientific backing for longevity and recovery.
I created Plant Nutrition Edit for people who care about their health, but also for transparency. Because good information should be available to everyone, not just those who know how to read research papers.
Functional plant foods. Based on evidence. Proven benefits.
